Comments Thread For: Stiverne: I Guarantee Arreola Rematch Won't Go Distance

It will be almost exactly a year since their first meeting when Bermane Stiverne and Chris Arreola step in the ring for their rematch on May 10th. Their assignment to fight each other is a familiar one but the stakes are higher this time as the winner will be crowned with the vacant WBC Heavyweight title.

Stiverne handily defeated Arreola last April as he was able to drop him in the 3rd round and shatter his nose in the process. Arreola was forced to fight the remaining 9 rounds with his nose broken and while he didn’t win, he showed a lot of heart by finishing the fight. [Click Here To Read More]

This fight will be a war. A short war, but a violent one. Can't wait.

Has Arreola done something to make people think he's all of a sudden gonna score some devastating KO? Stiverne's gonna embarrass him again.

Stiverne also said Arreola is not a hard hitter. He said he punches a lot but not hard. Im sure Stiverne wins by KO this time.

He's not -- he's an accumulation puncher, although Stiverne's beard isn't the greatest. Who put who down in that last fight? Who broke who's nose? Arreola's getting retired this time.

Man as much as I want Arreola my comrade to win, I see it going the same way like the first fight. Arreola is going to have to change up his game plan and develop his boxing game in the ring, I just don't see that happening. Stiverne is strong and smart when he throws his punches and keeps catching Arreola coming in, if Arreola don't move his head more the dude is going to end up on his back seeing the star's.
