    Dangerous Puerto Rican puncher and WBC CABOFE super welterweight champion Jorge "Destroyer" Melendez (28-3-1, 26KOs) will be seeing action on June 7th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as part of the undercard where Miguel Cotto will be facing WBC middleweight champion, Sergio Martinez, in the main event of an HBO Pay-Per-View.

    Melendez’s opponent will be former world champion Yuri Foreman (32-2, 9KOs), who is known in Puerto Rico for his fights against Daniel Santos and Miguel Cotto.

          I dont mind the fight, but it better not be the Co-main event or some crap like that,,

          its a good opener or 2nd fight on a 4 fight card...

          But really does anyone really care about either fighter

            Didt even know Foreman was still fighting since Cotto.

            This is my bday weekend and im planning a bash so i hope this isnt the main lead up fight to what i already think is a mismatch

                Foreman is a huge step up for Melendez, especially in New York. The last guy Melendez fought had 12 losses and he went the distance in Puerto Rico. This is no sure thing.
