King of Bending VS King of Shoulder Roll

Duran was much better than Chavez at slipping, ducking and rolling with shots. He also used it to transition to his offense better than just about anyone. There wasn't a disconnect between his defense and his offense like many. It was used to slip shots, then set up his offense.Last edited by BennyST; 03-27-2014, 10:20 PM. -
In this sense, this is why I prefer Toney's approach to the 'shoulder roll'... he was much more offensive with it. Whilst you just have to appreciate Floyd's defence, it feels to me that he has sacrificed a lot of offence and resorts to potshotting in many cases, whereas Toney was a different storyDuran was much better than Chavez at slipping, ducking and rolling with shots.
