Julio Cesar Chavez at 20 Years Old, 33-0-32

This is the oldest Chavez Sr. fight I've been able to find of him. He was 20 years old with 33 wins, 0 losses and 32 knockouts.

The announcers had never heard of him before.

    Now, how accurate is Boxrec?

They list his opponent as 4-4 but he's announced at the fight as 15-4.

Boxrec is not always complete. Especially old school fighters. Also Im sure obscure fighters in say Mexico for example it's nearly impossible to document all of their fights.

        Truth!!!!

You could hit Chavez Sr. with a bat and he will still be coming to bring the pain.

Even Mayweather Jr said his dream match would had been against him, He wonders if he would had beaten him ! I believe Chavez would had beaten Mayweather in 9 res thats just my opinion
