    Damn right Hunter's rep is at stake. Khan has looked notably worse in last few fights under Hunter, he seems to be reigning in his natural instinct rather than fighting smart.

    This will really show us whether Khan has progressed under Hunter after this long training camp.

Since they first signed his as his trainer, I always expressed how ******ed that was. And I also said a big deal will be made when they lose, Virgil will be blamed, but it's not his fault. That guy Brian Gonzales, the one who fought Oosthuizsen(spelling), is a Virgil trained fighter and I thought he was pretty good and that is the style better suited for Virgil.

      Even now fans ignore how certain trainers are jut better than others with certain styles. You can not have a Ricky Hatton with a Floyd Sr. Khan will never be good under Virgil, and it is not even Virgil's fault.
      Couldn't have said it better myself, Virgil just doesn't suit the likes of Khan and Angulo, they're aggressive fighters and Virgil just doesn't have the same coaching for that style, if anything it is confusing them and this makes it worse for them as they're sort of snapped between going with their attributes rather than their training.

      Garcia would have always been the best coach for Khan, he has not only got the right style for him, but his ringside motivation is absolutely tremendous.

      I don't think Khan should have ever left Roach but thats done now.

      The type of fighters who should be with Virgil are;
      Alexander
      Crawford
      Abril
      Moreno

        Khan needs to look good, or people will start to bash Hunter, because Khan looked much worse in his two fights with Hunter. Fair or not, that's just how it is. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt because he has trained Andre Ward since he was a kid. Obviously he knows something about how to train a fighter.
