      Standard....lol.

Not stopping him here if there is any time left in the round has to be the boxing equivalent of failing to score in brothel.

As a result he ends up getting hit with what seemed like 634 flush bombs in round 10.

I know he is multi-millionnaire and that but something about Khan always makes me think: 'poor fucker'.

Watching some of it again too. Interesting how Maidana bounces two decent right hands off of Khan's head within the first minute and they seem to do nothing. This Maidana guy is weak yo.

Yeah. And? That would have come sooner and more conclusively IMO had Maidana not been so weakened by that body shot early in the fight.

Why is this confusing for you guys??
it would have come sooner? you're speaking in absolutes as if there aren't more variables in a fight i.e., was khan conditioned to go rounds, was maidana conditioned to take an awful body shot, was maidana fighting a typical fight of his in the form of walking down an opponent and taking trying to drown him later?

if you get up from that body shot, and come on and sweep the final rounds, like maidana did, you're over the body shot, chief.

agree with this, it was a hell of a shot, beautiful (i love a nice left to the body) and took a lot of maidana away from him, amir's best punch in his whole career IMO.

That was not Maidana at his best. That was not Maidana at 100%. You're oversimplifying past the point I'll allow myself.

Take note baya; Maximus did "win" even though he got shanked.

                  ^^^^^^^^^^

It saved him that fight possibly. Agreed, DR.

                    You guys are overplaying it.

It was a good shot but Maidana is weak to the body. He's been hurt to the body a few times since.

his body is soft as hell, which makes it all the more impressive he got up
