No Castillo was a HOF caliber, and number 1 p4p fighter in his division pre Floyd.............

    People seem to forget that.....

Matthysse equals a half smoke and mirrors fighter, while Castillo had actual elite level skill

I don't see the similarities at all to be honest. Matthysse telegraphs his punches, Castillo didn't which is why Mayweather didn't look great defensively against him. JLC was an exceptional inside fighter, Matthysse has never shown that he could fight on the inside. Castillo is all around superior.

        Not at all.

Castillo was an inside fighter, he didn't fight at all from the outside. And Castillo always went to the body first, and went there way more than the average fighter. Castillo was nasty. But, Castillo Collazo II, in that fight, Castillo came into the fight overweight on purpose, to ensure he had an advantage. That is something we should not forgive. He didn't even really attempt to get rid of it, he just willingly accepted the monetary punishment.

Maths is way more of a headhunter, and likes to fight more from a distance, and doesn't throw long combinations like Castillo.
