    Bermane Stiverne vs Tyson Fury!

Lets assume both win their upcoming fights, which is most likely going to be the case, but then again its boxing and HEAVYWEIGHT boxing for that matter.

A fight between Tyson Fury vs Bermane Stiverne for the WBC World Heavyweight Title would seem like a great match up and after years of mismatches a nice change.

Who wins? How? Do you like the prospect? Thoughts???

The Arreola Stiverne winner by WBC rules has to defend two mandatories after picking up a vacant title, thus the ordered fights between Scott and Wilder as well as Jennings v Perez.

This proposed fight you mention like wont happen in the near future,at least not in 2014.Fury hasn't enough money behind him with his current team to tempt these guys otherwise.thus the reason he has elected to campaign for the WBO international belt, hoping he is made mandatory against Wladimir.in choosing the easier route of Chisora as opposed to the eventual WBC champion in 9-12 months time, the idea of Stiverne vs Fury will likely be out of the window long since.

The match up would be a solid fight between two natural heavyweights though, the size of both makes it intriguing and it is far from a mismatch.persoanlly I'd love to see it.id favour Stiverne myself, but Fury is certainly quicker and lighter on his feet, when in shape.

If Fury proves his galah knockdowns are a thing of the past and somewhat proves himself to be the durable warrior he claims himself to be then i wouldn't rule out a Fury points win.

I like both fighters but I could see Stiverne stopping Fury in that fight because I think Fury could get wreckless at some point and Stiverne has decent power and very good skills. But it also depends on whether Stiverne is in decent shape or not. If he slacks off in the gym then Fury beats him. I guess it's a 50-50. Good fight!

damn, thanks for the info dude
was hoping for a unification fight within the next yr, oh well
and anyway, would pick Fury to win that fight
could be good early then get dull in later rds
like Fury on points vs Stiverne if it ever did go down

A unification is supposed to take precedence over any other fight isn't it ? So I wouldn't at all rule out the Arroela vs Stiv winner facing Wlad, especially if Cristobal wins.that guy wants to be champion.

With Stiverne being promoted by Don King,it doesn't appear likely we'll see Stiverne face Wlad.who knows though.id love to see Wlad unify all belts.

Stiverne wins I think, he beat Arreola convincingly, dropped him (which even Vitali didn't do) and Arreola is probably better than anyone on Fury's resume, although Stiverne's resume is pretty dire, he is fairly unproven. I think Fury would try to box but Stiverne is a tough guy who keeps coming, I think at some point a brawl would ensue with Stiverne KOing Fury.

                Great Post!

You are correct as i did hear Fury going the WBO route.

I love both but i not only favor Stiverne but i have to back him because hes from Canada and it'll be nice to have our own champ. Since lennox thought he was too good for us.
