      Hopkins is almost 50yrs of age, his best days are well behind him as a MW there is no way he lasts more than 5rds against these much bigger punchers.

        I think either man beats Hopkins. He lost to Dawson. I think that was about two years ago and he is older and further over the hill. These two fighters are much better than Dawson and hit much harder than Dawson.

          Not the Hopkins that fought Murat thats for sure! Hokins isn't a big light Heavy.. He walks around at 185 so hypothetically if he does fight them he'd be at a 80+ lb weight disadvantage.

              hell no, dude is 50 yrs old
              back in 06 there was talk of him fighting Maskaev
              that's a HW title fight Hopkins coulda won
              but at this point, no chance, even vs a subpar paper titlist
              too much weight for Hopkins to carry or handle defensively

                Not gonna happen, and I don't think he could pull it off. If he beats Shumenov he'll fight Stevenson. He'd have the chance to retire as the undisputed light heavyweight champ. That's enough history.
