By Robert Morales - People can criticize Chris Arreola and his past misgivings about training all they want. But if not for him, America would never have a heavyweight title fight on home soil.
Remember Arreola's unsuccessful challenge to Vitali Klitschko in September 2009 at Staples Center in Los Angeles? That's the last time the U.S. hosted a heavyweight championship. That is nearly five years ago, thanks to the Klitschko brothers and their desire to fight on foreign soil.

Perhaps the May 10 title fight between Arreola and Bermane Stiverne at USC's Galen Center in Los Angeles should therefore be embraced in a big way.

That doesn't mean fans should altogether forgive Arreola for the Klitschko fiasco. The guy weighed at 251 pounds. That's not his heaviest, but it might as well have been because he was in pathetic shape. The rolls of fat bounced around on his back every time Klitschko hit any part of him, or any time Arreola threw a punch. He was stopped by Klitschko after 10 rounds. [Click Here To Read More]

this isn't Bradley JMM 's going vs & even though he's thinking negatively (saying he may retire after this), he's still got 2 much 4 Alvarado...unless Arreola gets Stiverne in the 1st 3, he doesn't win...as always, weakest division in boxing..

Alvarado is big and he moves pretty good around the ring if he wants to(second fight against rios)..he lost to provodnikov but marquez doesn't punch like provodnikov, isn't as strong as him,so who knows if marquez will take mike's punches well,i won't be surprised if marquez loses,he's 40 and slowing down a lot already,i can see a tko and marquez all cut up,alvarado is still the younger, stronger guy,so what if he came off a loss,he was hit hard and marquez isn't a hard puncher like provodnikov so im sure hell take the punches better plus jmm doesn't pressure like ruslan does,so mike will probably have more time to throw his punches and think up there instead of having a guy constantly on top of him throwing non stop punches like rios and ruslan did, well see how this fight goes
