KKK got a multi fight deal from HBO. He's gonna be fine.

They ain't gonna pay him big $s to fight the likes of Agnew though are they - who the hell is left for him to fight with all the belts over with SHO? - Even Dawsons been snapped up by Haymon. Chilemba perhaps? Bellews gone to CW...Cloud? LOL. The division is quite literally a wasteland after Kovalev and Stvenson ran a train through it last year.

That said an HBO deal ain't to be sniffed at of course and Kovalev has age on his side (at least vis-a-vis Stevenson and BHop) - I just can't see much happening for him in the next year or two.

I'm a NY Giants fan, and I hate to see Justin Tuck go, but it would have been unresponsible to his family for him to stay when the Giants offered him a 2year deal for less than 6 mil when the Raiders offered him a 2 year deal for 11 mil.
To often we as fans forget that this is a business. It is called prizefighting, and you should be fighting for the greatest prize. People may hate Floyd because he tells you that his goal is to get paid, but he's just being honest. Hell Pac will tell you that it's not about the money, he wants the fight for the fans, and that he'll fight for free. But with his next breath he says that he wants 50/50, and turns down 40 mil.
The fighters you named are staying true to themselves and being honest as to why they fight. Why do you have such a problem with that?

I dont know, ask Adonis why he chose Fonfara over Kovalev. He's all about the "lucrative" aspect of boxing, so why turn down a better opponent, who would bring in a bigger pay check? Does he hate money, i dont understand.

For the same reason KKK chose agnew- get a huge win to set up a big fight.

As for more money, seems Showtime is gonna pay him more to fight bhop. HBO decided not to match that figure for him to fight KKK.

We can agree Stevenson has not been keen on fighting KKK. But signing with all haymon shouldn't prevent HBO from matching the offer he got from Showtime to make this fight.

What is wrong with a boxer maximizing his purse? HBO has plenty of money. There is no reason they can't compensate employees at a better rate. I'm sure on your job you ask for more money. Time to stop blaming fighters when Herschman is cheap.

If fighters like GGG and KKK will fight for relatively nothing that's on them. But every fighter and manager won't settle for that and shouldn't.

Did you see Kathy duva's interview? She said the multi fight deal is more important than a world title. Yes it sucks that we won't see him fight anyone we want unless he fights ward. But its clear duva wants money as well.

Doesn't Kovalev have a tune up fight coming up? You don't have a problem with that. So why you being a hypocrite now? Besides this is about Haymon vs HBO. AS is just a pawn. Haymon knows HBO really likes Kovalev and he's not going to let them use his client to promote their fighter. They had a deal prior to AD hiring Haymon.

Floyd Mayweather granted is the oldest fighter obviously but he is by far the worst offender. Stevenson has just been relevant for the past 12-18 months.

I do not give a flying f@ck about who is getting paid what. I just want to see they best fight the best. And Stevenson's yellow belly has denied us fans a great fight, that's all there is to it.
