Adonis Stevenson runs to Showtime: Disgraceful!

And I did place some blame on hbo on nsb radio show episode 3:Herschman being cheap is the problem. He had decided to put on fighters who work for less. Haymon's job is to maximize his fighters salary. Nothing wrong with that. Place blame where it belongs.
The discussion isn't about fighters income. Stop being childish. It's about the course HBO is taking with its boxing programming. If they choose to give spots to foreign fighters and low skilled brawlers who work for less money while yielding high ratings, I get that. It's a good business move for them. How can you get mad when a fighter makes the same decision?
Time to place blame where it belongs. Yes, Stevenson could work for less. But why should he when HBO won't pay more when they easily could.

I must say there are a lot of fans these days that care WAY too much about business decisions, PPV numbers, purse bids, revenue splits or whatever...More than potential fights. Why do some people care that it is apparently a 'smart' move for Stevenson? Why do some people care that financially it made a little more sense? When we are talking about a fight happening why do these things often get so much emphasis put on them?
I'd say to those guys, seriously, do you want to see fights? Or do you want to discuss business meetings?Comment

They are almost exclusively floydgimps. You can see them in this thread and all the others. They're a bunch of TMZ style gayboys who get more excited about fighters bank balances than they do about fighting(which they universally know *** all about). Spastics.I must say there are a lot of fans these days that care WAY too much about business decisions, PPV numbers, purse bids, revenue splits or whatever...More than potential fights. HBO were willing to match Showtime's offer for Stevenson v Fonfara. But Stevenson wouldn't give them a guarantee that he would fight Kovalev next.
That's why they've passed. They aren't going to invest in Stevenson if Adonis isn't willing to agree to their marquee match up against Kovalev.
Now, why didn't Stevenson agree?Comment

Calling me a name doesn't make you any more correct. If you said something on a radio broadcast I didn't see it here so I couldn't comment on it.
HBO has right of first refusal if I am not mistaken. They can simply match Stevenson's deal. If they choose not to its on them.
Mentioning income doesn't mean that's the emphasis of the discussion.Comment

I'd say to you when a networks business plan is what is causing you not to see the fights you want, isn't it proper to discuss business?I must say there are a lot of fans these days that care WAY too much about business decisions, PPV numbers, purse bids, revenue splits or whatever...More than potential fights.
