I totally agree! If Thurman was to beat Lara, he could be a legit opponent for Floyd. I think GBP is not doing him any favors either. He should have fought Guerrero or Khan, not Diaz.

Here's the difference Schaefer, Arum has a massive fight lined up for GGG in the summer. Where is the massive fight for Thurman? Also, Macklin is better than anybody on Thurman's resume

Thats not true. Diego Chaves is a better win than Macklin. Soto Karass is probably even with Macklin

Maclin was a legit top 10 middlewt. No one thurman fought was ranked top 10 by anyone. Also ggg tried to fight geale, but geale backed out bc of an issue wit australian ppv. Although i understand GB tried to get a fight wit guererro for thurman but guererro wouldnt take it. If thurman fought 4x this yr then one of his fights vs diaz woild be fine. But his 1st fight is comin in may - hell fight two times this yr and this crappy fight vs diaz is one of them. Thats the difference
