Exactly. Stevenson would have taken the money then jumped ship. He just did it! He beat Dawson, fights double header with kovalev on the card. You think hbo are fork out the money to do that without having the intention with reasonable financial backing to put together the fight.

Hopkins can lose to shumenov...what's he gonna do then.

        So...

You have no interest in a Kovalev vs Stevenson fight? All of a sudden people watch a sport to not see the best fight but to be more understanding of there financial security. Ridiculous!!

Also there`s 2 sides to every story,i want to hear Stevensons side of the story of the contract before i jump to conclusions.

What the hell are you talking about? I just read her quote and she said she reached a deal with AD's promoter. So you go back and learn how to comprehend English.

If we talking Business sense for Stevenson going to Showtime for more money than HBO, then same could be for HBO. HBO don't want to waste money if he doesn't guarantee his next fight is with Kovalev. Why sink all that money in for nothing?

He was fighting fonfara regardless, now he's getting more money to do so, and a more lucrative fight with bhop

Stevenson made it quite clear already that he is all about money, it's not what the fans want. So get ready for the chicken cherry picking.

No money would've been spent with out a guarantee. They could've matched the fonfara offer and got up the money a kovlev fight
