Bustling Cancun Boxing, created and run by businessman, newspaper owner and fight Promoter Pepe Gomez has signed an alliance with Televisa.

Pepe Gomez has helped put boxing on the map throughout Southern Mexico, and especially in the sun kissed international resort of Cancun. A spectacular highlight was in 2008, when aided by Don King, Pepe organized the first ever heavyweight World Title fight in Mexico. I heard where Cancun Boxing is now Pacific Boxing, but good 4 Gomez, as the contract takes away part of the monopoly Promociones del Pueblo has w/Televisa...only a so-so main, Ortiz needs 2 step up 2 better competition after last year's end tuff win vs Reyes Sanchez. I'd like 2 c a photo of the Grand Oasis complex, sounds nice...
