Cynical I think your wrong here...Hop would slowly destroy Mayorga and possibly end his career. Funny how Hopkins still gets no love despite all of his accomplishments...its always just "he only fights blown up fighters." I think he'd crush Mayorga but whatever I respect your opinion.

Well if he would stop being such a ***** and fight real threats and/or move up in weight, I'd probably give him a sliver of credit.
But he won't so he stays a coward in my eyes.

I doubt Hopkins would be able to.
Mayorga's got quite a chin and Hopkins doesn't have as much power as people say he does.

Either way, I will always cheer for and bet on my favorite fighters no matter what.

You have to wonder if Mayorga will be the same after his fight against Trinidad. Maybe his career is on the downside as I write.

Yeah he caught Tito, but did you see how well Tito took those shot's? Mayorga did show alot of heart and he is tough, I'll not take that from him. BUT, he was so completely outclassed and I dont think he even knew it till way too late. Standing there inviting Forrest to punch you in the face is one thing; inviting Tito to do it is suicide. Mayorga was not prepared to fight someone with BOTH alot of talent and power. But he did take alot of big shot's and cant be called weak, that's for sure!

But I give him respect and credit for coming back and seemingly holding his own against Mayorga.
I haven't seen the fight but I have read the posts here and stories and seen the highlights on ESPN.
I am definitely taping it this Saturday.
"holding his own"? Tito handed him his ass in a way its never been handed to him before. Punk ass? No way; say what you will but til you watch the "schooling" Tito did on him, you havent seen anything; let alone the best fight of the year.

The "...no matter what." got me into an exercise that's a bit strange to me: thinking...

I thought Tito was going down with the first punch (any disguised as decent) Mayorga hits him with?!? He's not supposed to have a chin!!! I suppose everyone forgot to tell him...?!!

I've been saying Tito's chin is a hell of alot better at 160 than at 147.

Apparently so! Between that fight and the Lacy-Vanderpool fight, it was a great night of boxing! One of the best I've sit through in a long time (Oh, the Simms-McKart wasnt half bad either) A very good night of boxing!!!

Is great to see a fight like this specialy after seeing a lame fight as DLH-Nard.
"Nard must have **** on his pants"... WHAT?? You can't be serious. Nard is one of the best boxers of this era, Nard would outbox and destroy Ricardo "no skills" Mayorga and I don't think Tito wants to fight Nard one more time.

DLH-Nard= Great fight. Do you only enjoy boxing when it's a WAR. Don't you appreciate "great", "smart" fighters like Hop and DLH??
