Showtime and al Haymon latest power move was a straight f you to boxing and it's fans. Kovalev vs Adonis was picking up real steam and the fight was one of the most anticipated in the sport. To prove true supremacy at 175 division. Hbo had and agreed deal to match Stevenson with that polish fighter,then after had and agreement with main events for the fight with kovalev. So why in the hell would showtime trump hbos offer for the "tune up" fight with fonfora. Dirty a$$ move by Haymon and showtime. What's you're guys take whose to blame? Simple poll. I'm sure some of you will say I'm being biased but I'm just calling it like I see it and want to see the best fights possible. Like we all should.

So Showtime was supposed to let HBO put on a better fight for the betterment of the fans; you think HBO will let Manny just go fight Floyd on Showtime for the fans. Showtime wants top HBO as a boxing network it's that simple.

I put the blame on Adonis since he was super hesitant on fighting Kovalev before he signed with Haymon. He didn't like the fight.

Adonis didn't want it with Kovalev IMHO. And I'm not a fan of either guy.

The real issue here is this....being allied with certain managers/promoters shouldn't mean you can't fight on the other one ever. And HBO started that crap once Floyd signed the exclusive PPV deal with them. So overall....it's HBO basically saying they couldn't work with Golden Boy or most anyone associated with them.

But I blame Adonis for this particular fight not coming off.

Be mad at the promotional companies/networks they are the ones acting like children; all the fighters are going to do is go with whoever is paying them more. I'm not a fan of Stevenson or Sergyi I had no horse in that race.

HBO could have matched the offer but they didn't. I'm not going to blame Adonis for taking more money.

And even despite all that has happened Kovalev-Stevenson can STILL be made if HBO throws enough cash at it. They have more subscribers and more money than Showtime.

This,, if your gonna blame anyone, it's Adonis. All other parties involved are just doing normal business moves.. Adonis seemed not to have any desire for a kovolev fight
