Keith Thurman vs Luis Carlos Abregu

Taking into consideration that both will most likely get past the competition within the next month,

Im hoping this fight could be made for sometime in September.

Abregu dare I say it is one of the MOST UNDERRATED boxers in the 147lbs division.

He has an outstanding record in terms of wins and KO's, and the only person he has lost to was Timothy "The Alien" Bradley.

I think its definitely a fight where Thurman can be tested in and really show his pedigree in terms of being thrown into murky waters by someone like Abregu, and in Abregus case it can only shoot him up into possible clashes with the likes of Maidana anyone else in the top 10.

Yes sir indeed, he is fighting a undefeated man in Jean Carlos Prada (30W 21KO 0L 1D)

Don't really know much about Prada but judging by the competition he has faced Abregu may prove too much for him.

        Is Abregu signed with TR?

Bradley had him dancing. Tim Bradley. Let that sink in for a second.

        Thurman would have him sleeping.

Abregu is a legit 147lber but he is a Top Rank fighter so is unable to fight Thurman.

This is precisely why Schafer won't make the fight. He will not put Thurman in the ring with anyone who has a chance of beating him, but will continue blow smoke up the collective as.ses of fans by telling us that no one wants to fight Thurman.

                Do you not follow boxing?

Diego Chaves is a far better fighter than Abregu (also better than Matthysse and Maidana according to many Argentinians).

The likes of Pauli, Guerrero, Porter etc have OPENLY said they're not willing to fight Thurman.

Maidana - his team admits he turned him down
Malignaggi - told him to get his money up
Guerrero - turned down Schaefer's plan to match him with Thurman
Porter - says it would be a bigger fight "down the line"

Only guy who was willing fight Thurman was Collazo and he got the Khan fight.
