    Vargas (pre-Trinidad) versus DLH

I personally think Vargas had a lot taken from him in the Tito fight and I'd think he would have beat DLH if he didnt face Tito before their matchup?

I disagree, DLH was pissed at Vargas for talkin trash before the fight and would've destroyed him either way

State that right please....VARGAS HAD EVERYTHING TAKEN FROM HIM FROM TITO... That fight was a good example of letting a fight go on too long... Every one is mad when a fight is stopped too soon, but look what can happen to someones boxing career when it not stopped when it should have been. Look at Vargas now, he cant take a punch.
That why in his recent fights hes started to box, he has too... he knows he cant take a punch.. Itll be interesting to see how he handles Mosely;; Ill be there....

P.S. I think TITO is still to this day not given his proper props... he was a killer... He ruined Reid,Joppy,Vargas' careers.

If DLH was pissed, he sure didn't show it.

I never seen Vargas just fade like that before when DLH landed that weak ass final flurry.

It seemed like a couple things went wrong in the Oscar fight.

But other than the Tito factor, it seemed like Vargas wasn't as mobile as usual. Look at the way he moves in the Tito, Winky, and Quartay fight compared to the Oscar fight.
It was either because of all the muscle that he had packed on or it could have been the back problems that he was having. He credited the loss to that. Either way, I'm not sure what it was but that wasn't a good Feroz performance. Thats easy to see.

I see the same outcome. Vargas just isn't good enough to beat Delahoya. The only thing that surprised me about that fight was Delahoya stopping Vargas. I didn't expect that but I knew that there was no way Vargas was beating Delahoya. I was so confident that Delahoya would beat Vargas that I betted $500 and I usually don't bet more than $20 on fights.

Okay I originally voted different outcome, but I take it back. Don't forget, Vargas was on ROIDS in the DLH fight (watch the first round, it's pretty obvious, lol) and still didn't win. I don't think Vargas could beat De La Hoya. I think Mosley won a close fight against De La Hoya the first time but sure as hell didn't win the second one. De La Hoya is a more complete fighter than Trinidad or Mosley ever was.
