The 118 pound super champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno, has rejected an offer to face Venezuelan former champion Liborio Solis (17-3-1, 8KOs), who last December failed to make weight for a planned unification with Daiki Kameda, but still managed to win a decision over the hometown fighter.
Chemito was offered $70,000 to take the fight. His team countered with a demand for $250,000 dollars. Unless they see an offer for that amount of money, they are going to take a vacation and then focus on their mandatory defense against Juan Carlos Payano.
