Shawna Porter crapped himself when he got offered the fight, same with Guerrero. Zero respect for either of them and all these cherry picking cowards in the sport.
WTF? Who the hell do you think is dodging a guy who has beaten nobody? Guerrerro turned down the fight because Schafer refused to offer him the minimum guarantee listed in his contract. I don't remember reading that Shawn Porter was offered this fight. If he was there is no reason to turn it down. Alexander is a much better fighter than Thurman and he beat Alexander.

Diaz would have made for a good fight with Broner on the Floyd undercard. Thurman is too good for him, though.

You are absolutely right. Soto-Karass was his best opponent to date, which means the WBC interim champion was fighting the equivalent of Tijuana taxi drivers before the Soto-Karass fight. Now, he is fighting another taxi driver.

Boxingscene logic: Its clearly time to call Thurman out on his level of competition. But he fights in Floyd's division. So we're gonna dismiss his level of competition by claiming everybody is ducking. That way, we can have his as one of the five million people we can claim Floyd is ducking.:wank:

                Forget about Floyd.

Maidana, Guerrero, Malignaggi and Porter all turned this guy down in the last 12 months and you want to complain about his level of competition (which is more foreign than poor).

Who is he supposed to fight?

It's crazy how Diaz once had a reputation for having a weak chin but it's improved immensely since moving up. That said Thurman will stop him, Diaz will bring it though.
