    GBP keeps making the excuse that they can't get thruman fight a, they have a network all to themselves, and have almost every fighter in his division signed, they are completely full of it.

    Thurman doesnt want tougher fights, or fights with guys who can hurt him, why the heck is this dude constantly calling out paulie anyway? All the fighters out there and he's spending his time calling out a feather fisted fighter.

    Thurman doesn't really want to fight, he just wants easy fights.

      That is wishful thinking.

      The only reason you are saying that is because the poor showing that Khan had with Diaz that is so far removed from his better days that weren't that great to start with

        well

        What weight does Diaz fight at? For Khan it was what 144 I think. Definitely a step back. Why not fight Chaves again he said he wanted a rematch.

          Seems very true in a sense, I don't know I posted a thread on the Thurman hype, and yeah all he seems to do is call out people like Paulie or Broner***8230;

          He faced a puncher in Chaves and disposed of him well, but that was his best test iv seen.

          I would have liked to have seen him in with the likes of Randall Bailey who can certainly punch and would come to fight without a doubt.

          I know Diaz was a LW who's in a heavier division, but so is Pac, Floyd, and more. Lets not discredit the mans record he has 29 stoppages on his resume and thats pretty f***965;cking impressive.

                Im with your post until you mentioned Randall Bailey. His only hope of winning a fight versus someone like Thurman is landing one punch. Odds aren't in his favor to win a fight off one punch vs good comp. That guy is long over the hill and should retire.

                Thurman is def taking a step back. Soto Karass which I thought was a good test for him, to this guy? Don't understand it but its business not boxing. That's what they should call it.

                I was intrigued with Gary Russell and what he would do vs tougher comp. That's out of the door. Hope Thurman doesn't take the same path. But you heard it here. He's going to beat up on Diaz and then demand Mayweather to cash out. His hope there is for Kahn to lose to Collazo or Mayweather to shaft Kahn even if he wins.

                  The only reason I mentioned Bailey was because although I agree he's old and probably on his way out, he could certainly test Thurmans chin and give it one last shot before he bows out, Don't want to see him get obliterated by Thurman but a good way to leave the sport.

                    Thurman will keep wasting away with these types of fights. He could be doing big things already if only he wasn't being ducked. He needs significant / meaningful fights to get him closer to a Mayweather showdown.

                    Shawna Porter crapped himself when he got offered the fight, same with Guerrero. Zero respect for either of them and all these cherry picking cowards in the sport.

                      Keith Thurman is fighting a guy who has lost his last two fights and this is the best that Golden Boy Promotions can offer fans? Devon Alexander and Zab Judah are both available and I am sure that neither would turn the fight down. That is probably why it wasn't offered to them. If Thurman wins, I suppose he will fight the loser of the Khan/Collazo fight next. What a f.....king joke!!!!
