he took a step back unfortunately with soto, but it was a decent scrap and was like the third fight to a nice tripleheader

Beating Diaz doesn't get you Floyd and Porter/Paulie has to fight Brook. Still no title shot in sight for him in 2014.

feel bad for thurman because the guy is willing to step up but the best gbp could do is feed him julio diaz

looks like haymon and schaefer are changing their strategy...now they're trying to preserve their talents by not pitting their top fighters against each other.

Not getting a title fight doesn't mean he wont get a bigger fight later in the year. I think thurman/matthysse is a bigger fight as would be thurman v ghost.

exactly. its his 23rd pro fight. nothing wrong with starting the year by (hopefully) getting a huge KO win.

Julio Diaz trying to get back in the mix for the KOTY sweepstakes.

I still cant decide what my favorite KO of Diaz is. JLC gave him a good one. So did Holt. Something about how Rolando Reyes Koed him stands out. Just a hair more than the time Diaz got KO'd by Pollo.

Now I'm starting to take this personal Gbp have all the talents but doesn't put them against each other and when they do all of sudden it has to be on PPV FOH.....ether way I'm riding with thurman early KO.....but what can thurman do if the big names don't want a piece of him
