Pacquiao took boxing back to the mainstream with his exciting fights and knockouts vs marquez, morales, hatton, oscar and cotto only for floyd to come back and ruin it again.

honestly u could make arguments each way you could say floyd is bad for the sport i guess somehow role model or something? but what i honestly think is bad for the sport is promoters ya its the obvious but look at arum making people think floyd is something he is not. whether u like floyd or not there is no doubt arum has used his name and tried to put him in the ground and make people think hes something he is not to try and take over with his fighter. and it has worked wonderfully well except that floyds still on top. GBP pulls the same stuff though so dont think this is just me trying to bash arum but i really believe they are the problem they not only promote but try to take down other fighters these days and i personally feel thats horrible for the sport more so then any personality

Huh? No. Boxing had it's best year in awhile last year and he is the best boxer in the sport. How could he be hurting it seriously. Only newbs don't like Floyd because he beat Hatton or they are Manny fans.
