The best thing that could happen right now would be for Floyds PPV to be a bust and for Manny to beat Bradley.
If the demand for Pac-Floyd was huge before xmas, Floyd won't be able to be anywhere without being able to get away from Manny questions if Pac wins. His only hope to be able to promote the Maidana fight is for Manny to lose.

The Klitchko's not fighting is a pretty big thorn in boxing's side, but at least they didn't dangle it like a carrot in front of the fans. So you can blame Floyd somewhat for hurting boxing in that case. Having the "best" guy in the sport a convicted woman beater doesn't help either.

If he has any part in the Cold War then yes he is hurting boxing. All parties involved in that are hurting boxing.

It works both ways with Floyd. He is leading the PPV sales and doing a good job at it by keeping boxing alive in that aspect but hes turning boxing into the WWF/E.

Hurt boxings credibilty? Wouldnt that be the one thats under a cloud of steroid su****ion? Didnt manny turn down Floyd? Didnt manny duck steroid testing? didnt manny's promoter claim he needed to build a stadium which canceled another Fight? The PPV sells talk even louder wouldnt people be buying Pac's fight if they wanted to see him more? Why arent manny's PPVs selling like Floyd if he's so must see? Its quite simple, cause people wanna see Floyd more.

Who's under steroid su****ion? and by who? Even Floyd doesnt believe it as he had to make that embarrasing climbdown and apologise. There is also a culture of doping over at TMT, not to mention floyd's 3 failed tests so that would probably be the place to start looking.

Only thing that floyd does to ruin the sport is a lot of dudes are ducking more frequently now. Apart from that he's not that bad

No, especially with the growing popularity of mma. Boxing has to further define itself outside of two men putting a hurt on one another, because of the increased competition. To that end, Mayweather does a pretty good job of reflecting the artistic side of the sport.

I voted no because I don't think Floyd or Manny or Wlad or any one fighter is the face of boxing. Most people understand that he is just one important, very good and very highly paid boxer. They know there are thousands of other pro boxers and thousands of other pro fights taking place all over the world. I don't think his fights are all that dull. I like watching the best in action. He sells those pay for views better than anyone. He did time for beating a woman which is frowned upon by society but again most people realize this was his crime and does not reflect on other pro boxers. Athletes from all sports have been guilty of the same crime so it's nothing new or unusual. He has served his time and stayed out of trouble since then.

                      yes.

its disgusting the way he spoils fights by excessively holding using his armpit the opposite side of the ref so the ref cant see it. and if he does sees it, he always gives some harmless warning to floyd due to the fact that floyd is the a side.

see the guerrero fight as a big example.

even the sucker punching of ortiz is another example. i was at a strip club when that fight happened and a fight almost broke out because of it.

Pacquiao took boxing back to the mainstream with his exciting fights and knockouts vs marquez, morales, hatton, oscar and cotto only for floyd to come back and ruin it again.

Remember when floyd claimed the mantle from Roy as p4p #1 and the great fights he gave us?

                      no i cant remember.

Remember when Pac claimed the p4p1#1 throne from Floyd and all the exciting fights he gave us?

                      yup sure do.

And instead of making the sport even bigger by reclaiming his throne from pacquiao in a massive and historic fight, what does floyd do instead?

Accuses the only other ppv star in boxing of steroid use without evidence and setting up roadblocks left and right so the fight cant happen.

                      DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING.

Good job being the face of boxing floyd.

                      not.
