Comments Thread For: Kazuto Ioka-Amnat Ruenroeng For IBF Crown on May 7

Kazuto Ioka (14-0, 9KOs) is looking to become a three division world champion on May 7th at the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka, Japan. He will challenge IBF flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng (12-0, 5KOs), who won the belt in January with a twelve round decision over Rocky Fuentes. Ioka won the WBC minimumweight title in 2011 and then followed that up by winning the WBA junior flyweight belt in 2012.

Good for Amnat he deserves a good payday. This ****s bobs plans for Zou and its funny to me. Ioka takes this belt back to Japan and leaves Zou with no easy options to a title.

Bob needs to do the responsible thing for boxing and throw one of his flyweights (Zou, Viloria) to the wolf, Roman Gonzalez.

Three-division belt holder. Total respect for Ioka but these writers who claim an alphabet title belt makes somebody a "world champion" minimize the value of the phrase

Super interim champ. Good one and it wouldn't be surprising if it became a real thing.

But seriously I'm still not sure Shiming would even beat Reveco or Vor Saengthep. The wba always has like 2 or 3 interm champs, who can remember?

It's Reveco, Estrada and a thai guy.... don't know what they're hoping for title wise.... all the current FlW champs are tough....
