Are you referring to Pacquiao? If Pacquiao really wanted to fight Floyd he would be clamoring for a fight like Khan has been clamoring for it practically from the roof tops. Saying he wants to fight is one thing. Doing it is entirely another.

Why don't we let the fight with Maidana happen first before we assume?

He is the younger champ at 147 with the title belt, coming of a big win at welterweight.

Boxrec is accurate to me, so I have no problem with it. Its funny though, if this was Manny taking a fight of this stature after getting dismantled SOME PEOPLE on this board would be saying he needed a tune up fight after getting whooped. But I guess it only works for certain fighters that some like huh?

You haveva point,mayweather chose the easier style to fight ,a straight foward guy with a punchers chance..but maidana beat the fighter that fans and the media dubbed as the floyd predissesor,carbon copy adrien broner,so he deserves it.but khan has the tougher style,fast feet and handspeed,if your gonna beat floyd you have to be able to match him in the speed dept...but khans glass chin doesnt make him a durable fighter,i believe floyd would of stopped khan,at least with maidana theres a sense of drama for the whole 12 rounds cuz to me floyd aint ko'Ing maidana,he might stun or drop him but i dont think he will get the ko over chino

I stated that MUCH earlier in the thread. I put the boxrec schedule up for May 3rd at MGM not for Floyd-Maidana, but for the newly added Broner-Molina. I mentioned that earlier. i even said I should have quoted someone talking about that particular fight. Now back to the point I made that you missed, after a certain fighter gets dismantled its ok for him to get a tune up fight, but other fighters after getting dismantled can not get one and its not cool for him to have the fight.

Well, we'll have to disagree on why the May/Pac fight hasn't been made yet.

I can almost bet that if Pac wins big against Bradley, and stays the champ or continues to win after that, and also leaves Arum, the fight may very well happen.

I would like see it. Providing Pac stays on top. It only makes sense.

Now what if Pacquiao loses to Bradley? And what if he loses to Bradley in a big way?

It's not about the money, it's what we get for the money spent. These days, it seems that every faction, whether it's real estate, goods, services or in this case, entertainment, expects top dollar for a mediocre product. PPV fight prices have gone up what, nearly 50% in the past 10 or so years, while the quality of the fights have gone down? The main event of this card may be interesting if Maidana can bring his "A" game, but most think he's overmatched. Khan hasn't looked good lately @ 50% in his last 4 fights. He's fighting Collazo, who isn't bad, but he was struggling a bit before he caught a ring-rusted Ortiz, who hadn't fought in 19 months. Love vs Periban is a non-issue filler to me. Last and least, we have Broner, who got his ass handed to him by Maidana. He's stepping back down to LWW to fight Molina, who has 7 KOs in 19 fights, and hasn't fought in 15 months since being beaten soundly by Khan.
