The first fight was close,close enough that a different ref could have been the difference in the outcome and there is no question Cortez was Khan friendly.So there was not much between them.
Since then Maidana has got better,been active and has momentum with a great win over Broner. Khan lost momentum in the Peterson fight has been inactive and in his last fight just managed to sc**** by Diaz and has not got the ball rolling since while sitting out waiting for Mayweather. If they fought now I would expect Maidana to win.

If Cole was the ref, Maidana would have ended the fight. Cole isa pretty **** ref though, so take that as you may.

I don't think there is much question that Maidana beats Khan at this point, unless he shows something special against Collazo.

maidana should have won or drew. that 10th round should have been 10-8, he also took the 11th and 12th on my card.

khan had some flashes in the 11th but not enough to carry the round IMO.

This is becoming nearly as bad as all those Klitschko fans who kept on crying about TKO6.

If they fought again or if they didn't get cut or if Joe Cortez didn't save him or if a group of flying pigs flew into the ring blah blah.

How about if the first round was about 30 seconds longer would Maidana have been KTFO'd in the first?
