LAS VEGAS - An explosive matchup of two world-class fighters is coming to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 3, when British superstar and former Unified Super Lightweight World Champion Amir "King" Khan faces Brooklyn native and WBA International Welterweight Champion Luis Collazo in the 12-round welterweight co-main event of "THE MOMENT: Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana" on SHOWTIME PPV.

I'm no fan of Khan but a decent opponent after along layoff - this will answer questions if if he can mix it in the welterweight division, if Hunter has improved him or if he has learnt anything under his tutelage or will it be the same Khan. Maywaether fights in Sept so if Khan comes through this and is Mayweathers next opponent will he fight due to it been Ramamadan or will Mayweather fight instead in November to accommodate Khan otherwise Khan will have to have another fight at the end of the year to be Mayweathers ooponent next May.

I don't see any way for Khan to win this fight. Collazo is really tough and is unlikely to be bothered by Khan's punches. If Khan fades in the middle to later rounds as always i think he will get stopped.
