There is fasting Ramadam that will make him weak. I am pretty sure he has never fought in Ramadam before and there is a reason for it. It is an important tradition and there is no way the fight can be in Dubai in Ramadam.

Nah Ramadan isn't about the pilgrimage it's more about giving back for the most part. People do go to Mecca after Ramadan but the majority of ******s take there pilgrimage during Hajj which is the intended purpose.

I thought part of the camp for the Prescott fight was during Ramadan and he said that is why he got stopped. He said he would fight around Ramadan again and Stephen Espinoza also said Khan-Mayweather will not be happening in September for this exact reason.

Ramadan begins June 29th or 30th depending on the mIn reality they could fight during Ramadan because it would be at might when fasting is over.

I need to go back and watch Collazo's fights before Ortiz to see how much he has left, but i dont see any reason why he cant pull this one out.

Khan under Roach was very good against defensive fighters. He was able to use his height, reach, speed and volume to keep them thinking about defence rather than about landing punches on him (Judah and Kotelnik come to mind).

However Khan isnt with Roach anymore. Hunter is trying to change his style, make him more calm and give him a boxing IQ, im not sure it will work. Some guys just dont have brain needed to fight that way, and from what ive seen of Khan i think hes one of those guys. I think if he tries to outbox the boxer in this fight he will lose.

Whether he gets stopped or not is anyones guess. Collazo isnt a big puncher, but he punched plenty hard enough for Ortiz, hes also a natural 147lber so who knows how Khan will react?

                Early prediction Collazo by KO.

Ramadan would be over by the end of July. 4/5 weeks probably makes early September difficult if Khan fully observes fasting. It would affect early training.
                  This does differ for individuals.

I don't think Khan will go into the biggest battle of his life on the basis of a 4 week training camp. would simply be idiotic.

Slot him in for May next year. Then he gets another fight at 147 under his belt as well.

he wont fight in ramadan because the prescott fight was in ramadan... and he got beat that day.. trust me fasting for 30 days takes a lot of energy out... especially in summer where you have to fast from sunrise to sunset.. which is like 14 15 hours
