And I'm sure you fully expect him to walk straight into another PPV title fight after, while provodnikov gets left out in the cold for the crime of being a winner.
Yes because Provodnikov and JMM are in the same position in their careers and have the same accomplishments. Ruslans rise to fame is beating Alavarado for f**s sake... Let me repeat that his rise to fame is beating Alvarado how the hell does that compare to what Marquez has accomplished. If Cottto can get a shot at the Middleweight crown by beating Rodriguez I have no problem with Marquez getting a big fight after beating Alvarado. It's the name of the game don't single one guy out for something so common in the sport.

i hate saying someone as accomplished as marquez could be ducking someone, especially coming off a loss this late in their career

His rise to fame is losing to a guy who's rise to fame is getting a gift decision against an ATG... Let that sink in for a minute before you go around screaming duck and going off with your triangle theories.

The CW is kind of unfortunate for Mike because he looked horrendous at his last weigh-in. To me, he currently seems faded ..he's prob not that far gone as a whole, but in context to the consecutive wars he's had, it just seems like he's never full rested his body. He still a tough guy but it doesn't seem like he's taking the shots as well, they stick with him more..

If he could be a full WW, I think he would have the power to hurt the smaller Marquez bad, instead of doing damage to Juan's face like I think he will be able to do regardless. I can see him putting him some good work while he is fresh, his jab pumps, he can move a little.. and JMM face and nose has been busted a lot lately...i just don't know if he will have enough power to let's say hurt or deck JMM to really swing it in his favor.

He might be able to put some power into shots early...but i dont think it will last...lately he has been devolving in the 2nd half of fights where he is just throwing little flurries with not much on them

We know Jmm will battle throw a broken face ..he should end up breaking him down.but it still feels competitive because I envision a bloody Marquez at some point and that can add some urgency to things
