Bringing buzz to the heavyweight division !! I still have Jennings and stiverne beating him because they have skill but, if any fighter gets caught.... Lights out!

Stiverne has one hell of a chin. That would be a true test to his power. I could see Stiverne sparking Wilder out if Wilder keeps lunging in.

not at all. wilder was one of the best prospects in the last decade to turn pro, his athletic ability and talent as a HW is arguably the best in the history of boxing (yes, i said it).
he hasnt improved the way he would have needed to in order to live up to his tremendous potential though which some havent caught on to. even so he still has the best combination of speed and power in the division making him dangerous to almost any HW.
lacy was sheer trash, he had even worse skills than wilder and no talent whatsoever. dude just couldnt fight to save his life, completely useless. not comparable to wilder in any way.

People have been dogging Wilder since he turned pro, and it is the same people. Anyone with any boxing acumen knew he was at least 5 years away when he started, and we are 5 years in (a bit more about 7 months until he gets into year 6). He needed time in the gym which is how he has improved, to me the real work for improvement is done in the gym, the fights just show if you can apply what you have learned. The fights are the test and there are some things you can only learn from a testing experience but that is not technique (which is what people dog Wilder for) it is how they deal with situations with no safety net
He has improved a lot and is looking a lot more like a prop fighter, he will always look crude but you can look crude and still be very effective especially at heavy where power and range are critical things to have.
I have probably been the most positive person about him but if you can take his power or mitigate his offense (by getting inside) he will have problems he won't be able to solve. Still I think those issues fall in the category of easier said than done with a guy with that range and power

Maybe if you just said 'athletic' but in terms of talent? No way in hell

Wilder is in a really weird place where his power is so legit, he can't improve what he needs to improve without possibly fighting a level of competition that's too much at the wrong time.
If he can keep improving a couple of rounds at a time, we'll see what happens with him.

He literally had never strapped on a pair of gloves in his life until late 2005. He went from a complete novice to winner of the National Golden Gloves, U.S. Championships and then an Olympic Bronze Medalist all within 3 years.

From where I'm sitting Wilder hasn't improved at all since his debut. His punch technique is god awful and he doesn't have a jab. His footwork is mediocre and the jury is still out on his chin. I have no words to describe Wilders resume.
I'm just speculating but it feels like Wilder has bought into his own hype and maybe thinks he is the complete package now. I mean who wouldn't when you've knocked over 31 of your 31 opponents and you don't register that they were total and utter bums.
Below are some of the fighters I feel would school Wilder in no particular order:
Wlad
Haye
Fury
Chisora
Thompson
Povetkin
Jennings
Arreola
Stiverne
Pulev
Perez
Banks
Browne
From what I've see of Wilder, he would go life and death with the likes of Manuel Charr and Seth Mitchell at this current time.
I don't see Wilder ever improving enough to be a serious contender and his career is going to blow up as soon as he steps in the ring with a contender/fringe contender.
