lol, Haye admitted they "fitted" that footage for his fight with Chisora..he specifically said that those vids didn't capture the full accuracy of their sparring sessions and that "Wilder did much better than what the videos displayed". I don't think he would willingly say that had he dominated those sessions....they cropped out the footage that was in the best interests of team Haye at the time. I think Wilder dropped him in sparring but they got rid of that footage real quick.

Wilder probably flipped when he saw that the footage was posted. With lanky legs like Wilder, I can see that tree falling with anyone that will truly test him.

I can only imagine how much he paid Haye to not say he utterly destroyed him in sparring, unless the Brit just caught feelings for the American and wanted to save him some face. I'm sure that's what it was...obviously.

Is there extended footage of the Haye-Wilder stuff now, or still just that same clip? He got rocked himself, but also landed 2 substantial right hands iirc. Like Valero said above they happened in very close quarters. I was actually surprised by how short they were because he is usually throwing them from range, and 'windmilling' up close when fighters are hurt. That sequence looked different. Obviously the footage was doctored so there isn't much to conclude from it other than it was cool to see the two square up.

anyway...At first I didn't think much of Wladimir saying that Wilder was legit after working out with him - I figured Wlad was just being sportsmanlike and classy...but after seeing that Haye footage, albeit short, I thought back to the comments and now put some stock into them. Not that I think Wlad would lie, but like I said i thought he was just gladhanding. They must have seen more there than we've seen in 20 of his fights - he's been behind the scenes working for a long time it's gotta pay off somehow. He has to be more than a right hand, doesn't he?

I'm over being mad about the Scott fight, just gonna ignore that and wait to see what happens next as he waits for the title shot - for right now...I think I'd pick him over Arreola if that's the matchup, but I like Stiverne to win if they fight.

Once Wilder faces adversity I guarantee you he will be destroyed. Haymon wants to hype this guy up, get him his shot at Wlad and cash him out.

I see Wilder in the same category as Berto, Mitchell, Broner, Ortiz ect

I guarantee you he won't...who do you see besides Wlad that is going to "wreck him" since it seems to be so easy to do once he faces "legit" comp?

Wilder is going to stomp the next couple of people he faces..enter the name here or there but it's simply going to happen. Wilder already has not only more wins but more wins by KO than all those guys that you referenced. It's OK to hate but without any foundation to edify your argument on, not an easy journey you are on.

There is no HATE here. I don't HATE Wilder or what he has done. Wilder is a very accomplished athlete. I think he needs to face more seasoned fighters than what his record currently holds, so we can make a fair judgement on whether or not he is an A,B, or C list fighter. Once he faces the winner of Arreola-Stiverne, we will have a little clearer horizon to base his future off of. I am always suspect of a boxer's chin based off of their leg development. Wilder takes a solid shot, his legs aren't strong enough to balance him and keep him up. Lights out.

I guess were just going to have to wait a see.....

he's a joke and his fans are an even bigger joke. when i see a picture of wilder, i can only laugh. he's not a boxer. he should be shooting hoops. he's so ****ing clumsy it's hilarious. i cannot WAIT to see this guy getting clobbered, good & proper. ****ing stretchered out. a disgrace to boxing.
