  • Fighters who DUCKED most thread

As Dirks asked the question who refused to duck, I thought i'd ask peoples opinions on who did the opposite and found anyway possible to avoid a fighter.

    my top 3,

    Floyd Mayweather
    David Haye
    Andre Dirrell

    Others
    Bernard Hopkins
    Rid**** Bowe
    Joe Calzaghe
Sven Ottke (Possibly in others eyes the biggest ducker of all time)

Calzaghe in 2002, could have made the fight happen if he wanted but refused to and fought him 6yrs later when he had a few more losses.

we all know that nobody can break the record of no other than fraud jr. the name mayweather is now synonymous to the word, 'duck.'

i think we all agree with my post.

It's not synonymous cuz he's had his share of fights, but he will be remembered as a duck... May fans get mad all u want, but ask 5 casuals what they think about Floyd and they'll either bring up Pacquiao or say they hate and just wish he'd lose...

Floyd is the best ducker P4P

Pacman for many years, GGG at 154lbs now. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching Mayweather fight, but man does he choose not to fight the best fights he could have.

Put Joe Calzaghe, Manny Pacquiao's, , and Juan Marquez's name in a hat, shake it up and choose one

He also ducked James Toney around the same time. The fight was virtually signed, they even had both of them on the cover of Ring Magazine but Hopkins pulled out. He wanted to fight bums until Oscar moved up to middleweight.

Also ducked Roy Jones - asking for a 50/50 split against the P4P King and much bigger draw lolz
