European? That's a Manny Steward special son. See Wlad Klits jab

It only really works for tall HW's though because your height allows you to avoid right hand counters. It helps if you weigh alot too because it isn't going to give you much power if you are normal size.

        Exactly ,

it is a jab designed to control range, particularly effective if you have a reach advantage and intend to use it.

As for the argument of sticking out your jab, in general.

True, if you stick your jab out your opponent is likely to throw a counter overhand right.

At high level though (some) fighters use their jab as a bait: they -want- their opponent to throw a right hand over it, they are though ready to counter , and there are a many ways of doing so.

The famous "check hook" (as Mayweather calls it), for instance, is a way to counter a right hand.

Apparently you have never boxed or trained anyone that is the way fighters were taught how to throw their jabs in Europe back during the commie days it was used for scoring points and setting up your right , but with the right fighter and trainer you can counter it with an over hand right should I say Oliver McCall and Hasin Rachman

Neither the McCall or Rahman KO's had anything to do with how Lewis throws a jab. Any punch can be countered and throwing the jab that way is obviously useful seeing as Lewis is an ATG and Wlad is dominating right now using it. You aint no Manny Steward so STFU.
