    That's the problem right there. GBP bet on the wrong horse with Showtime.

    HBO is and has always been #1 in big time boxing events.

      This is what happens when you give Floyd Mayweather a $32 million guarantee for every fight. The only fight they made any money on with this deal was the Canelo fight. They lost millions on the Guererro fight and will lose millions on the Maidana fight. When Floyd fights guys of Guererro's and Maidana's stature Showtime needs 1.2 million buys just to break even. They aren't going break even here, they wouldn't break even on a Khan fight either, or Garcia. They got nobody over at GBP that can get them to 1.2 million buys right now in a fight with Mayweather. If they do the Pac fight, yes they will. Martinez would get him there as well I believe but there isn't much else.
