Besides the ko's, WIlder's technique is flat out horrible. He has NO FOOTWORK. SMOTHERS his punches when he LUNGES in with the straight right. Technically he is a mess. He's beating all these bums because he has size and power and they aren't that good.

So to say Wilder just bulls through Thompson is laughable at best. I'm a Wilder supporter, but let's be real here people.

yea,,,,wilder is so sloppy but he does have pretty quick hands and great power in his right. it would probably be enough to topple an old tony t but if the tiger hangs in there for the first 4 rounds it could get real interesting

Price almost had Thompson out of there on both occasions, and perhaps Wilder hits a bit harder than Price...so I think with the athletic advantages such as speed, together with the power, Wilder probably stops Thompson early. However, if Thompson could keep himself in it, play possum and get some clean shots on Wilder's chin, just like he did to Price, or see if Wilder would punch himself out, could be very interesting and a good evaluation of Wilder. Would be the best test of his career in any case, and bare in mind TT has only ever lost by KO to Wlad.

Price didn't come close to stopping Thompson the first time.

Wilder definitely. All Wilder has to do is stay on the outside and pick his power shots and not try to engage with Thompson. I think Wilder takes this one easily and there's no need to have them fight anyway.

Wilder isn't a very good boxer. He's all power and being very athletic and that can only take you so far. Unless Wilder lands one of those sick powerful wild punches early in the fight I think Thompson's experience and southpaw stance would most likely give Wilder some serious problems. It's a good fight

Ok, possibly a bit of an exaggeration, but he had him a bit hurt in the 2nd round when he trapped him in the corner and landed some good body shots. Watching that fight at the time, I always thought it was only 1 clean right away from ending.

Probably. However, if Tony could weather the early flurries, he'd probably stop Wilder.

Its difficult to assess Wilder. He CANNOT take a punch, we know that, but it is whether a fighter can get to him before he gets to them. Tony is a durable guy, so you cannot rule out him landing something back.
