That old time tested boxing quote still stands true to this very day.

If you look at all the undefeated "all time greats" they all have serious question marks as to why they retired undefeated:

Rocky Marciano - mob controlled era. should have lost the walcott fight but the mafia wanted to continue his undefeated record schtick.

Ricardo Lopez - who did this guy really fight and how come he never moved up to fight great fighters like carbajal, chiquita gonzalez, and galaxy? He had the frame to move up but stayed in his bulimic model division fighting boxers skinnier than rawandan refugees.

Joe Calzaghe - finally fought big names when both where in their 40s and proceeded to get dropped by both senior citizens. Imagine what would have happened had calzaghe fought hop and roy jr in their primes.

Floyd jr. - Do i even need to go over this? Has never fought a legit hall of famer in their prime and his best win is diego corrales.

If you look in the hall of fame, almost every single true all time great has had losses. It means you were tested, it means you didnt cherry pick.

How you bounce back from a loss is a true mark of a great champion.
This post is filled with bias. The saying rings true for the most part but it's not an absolute, a fighter can simply not be beaten throughout his career. You can propose hypotheticals for virtually any fight and or fighter and nit pick resumes to death, in the end it's still only opinion and not fact.

And Marciano beat jersey Joe Walcott decisively.

Floyd has to be the exception for the simple fact that nobody in or around his weight class can beat him. He has to fight friggin middleweights for it to even be competitive. He needs to hurry up and retire though so it can make room for a new king of the hill.

Does'nt make any difference while retired or active. Nobody is better and can beat him at 147

Joe Cortez ruined Hattons career in a way that he really did mess up whatever chance he had against Floyd even if he was going to lose no matter what. That fight is hard to watch because of how much Cortez involved himself.

The shameful thing about people like you is that you actually believe Floyd is the only one that ducked this fight.

Mayweather is a whole fighter since big Sr is in the corner and looking younger every fight ,I wouldn't be surprises if he stops Chino.

Have you ever seen Mayweather actually call out Pacquiao?

So: Oscar De La Hoya, Mosley, Marquez (WHO KNOCKED OUT PAC AFTER LOSING TO FLOYD), Ortiz, Guerrero, Canelo (The future of boxing), Cotto, (On the verge of making history in Puerto Rico), Judah, Gatti, Baldomir and soon to be Maidana are all nothing huh?

Tell that to: Marquez, Cotto, De La Hoya, Canelo, Guerrero etc... They were nothing when they fought Floyd and see what happens? Get your hating ass outta here with that garbage.
