Are you joking me? 130 Freitas is easy picking for PAC, all because Frei will be very weakened by the weight loss and it will be a moot fight.

Also this is not a ideal linear matchup as PAC will not be going up and Frei can't go down.

i haven't seen other fights of POPO aside from the Corrales fight, and verily, the fight didn't show a lot of that so called "eraser punch". Aside from Barrios, who are the topnotch fighter that he beat/knockout so much so that you arrived at the conclusion that he will do the same to PAC?Are they of the same class as that of Chico or JLC, MAB or MORALES? Point here is that, other so called "B-Class" fighters get hit with murderous punches(like that of POPO as you say) because they are who they are. B Class fighters. Nevertheless, if murderous power punchers(such as POPO in this case)will be given a top oposition or "A Class fighters", they MIGHT forget or think twice B4 they throw those murderous power punches.Just like what happened to him with Chico, he started defending and throwed regular punches because he tasted his opponent's power early in the fight.I guess we should also consider the quality of opposition that these two fighters already fought in order for us to have a clearer picture of things.

Why would we use quality of opposition to determine what would happen in a fight between a guy who just got to 130 and another that was physically HUGE at 130?
And why do you continually call Jorge Barrios a bum? He's one of the top 130 pounders right now. That's b-level? Barrios only loss came on a dq before he was KO'd by Freitas. If you seen the fight you would know that Barrios was taking shots well until he got froze in the 11th by that big eraser punch. Point being, Freitas has the punch to turn a fight completely around. And if he could land it on Pac, which I don't see why he couldn't as Pac doesn't have great defense, it would be lights out for the Pac-Man. Your guys argument is "pac's never been knocked down or wobbled by EM, JMM, or MAB." Those guys aren't huge punchers like Popo. And to beat Pac right now, that's who I would give the best shot to beat him. A big shot puncher.

It's not the end of the world picking someone over Pac.
And once again, WE WILL NEVER KNOW. The two will never fight. Pac doesn't even want a fight at 132 let alone go to 135 to fight Popo. And Popo can't make 130 anymore, he's too big for the division. Anything else????

And good point on Barrios too. To be honest, I think this would be a great fight and I can see Jorge giving Pac hell. I think this is a closer fight than most expect.

In a thread I made up yesterday about the issue as to why Jorge Barrios is not calling out Pacquiao to fight him,and instead picking MAB, somebody mentioned that BARRIOS may well be considered as a B-Class fighter.Another one mentioned (By the way tnx to their unbiased comments. I appreciate it)the name of Acelino Freitas, which intrigued me alot. I mean should POPO go down to 130 lbs. and meet Pac, who would you pick to win ?What if its PAC who goes up to 135 LBS. to meet POPO? In case of a contracted weight, who will it be? Thoughts,irregardless of nationality and prejudices, based on stats, fighters characteristics and styles will be appreciated.

pac going up to 135 will be easily outboxed by Popo but a popo going down to 130 will be brutally KO by pac.

Popo is a lot bigger and heavier than pac.
