    What's next for Abner Mares?

Does anyone know what's going on with him? He was due to face Jhonny Gonzalez in a rematch but he pulled out citing an injury.
He then turned down Takashi Miura.

Is he still fighting on Floyd PPV card? Who would you like to see him fight?

I think he will fight on the Mayweather undercard that's the whole reason why the rematch with Gonzalez is not happening . which I think is b.s. Gonzalez wasn't going to wait around for Mares the first fight took place in August last year. Gonzalez has a fight schedule at the end of this month. Can't blame Gonzalez for wanting to stay busy. I would like to see Mares vs Santa Cruz on the Mayweather undercard.

Maybe Golden Boy thinks he needs a soft touch. Mares has taken a lot of tough fights recently. He's coming off a KO loss after all.

Isn't Broner facing Carlos Molina (the lightweight) next?

He better not make a career of ducking Gonzalez like Khan did ducking Prescott and Bradley.

Mares vs. Gonzalez II is possibly back on for the end of May.

                  Wow just wow.

As for Prescott he went in to an oblivion. Did Donaire avenge his loss to Rosendo Sanchez in his 2nd fight?
