I think Matts needed to beat Garcia to get on Floyd's radar. I could see Khan/Matthysse materializing if Matts got through Herrera and Khan beat Collazo (or whoever he winds up fighting next). That's a left-over 140lb match-up that I'm interested in, and the winner of that would get on Floyd's radar. I could also see Khan/Garcia 2 occurring.

No way Matthysse gets Mayweather for beating Herrera. He would have to literally decapitate the dude for it to have that level of impact. And in that instance Floyd wouldn't fight him anyway.

If he beats Khan, he would definitely be in the running. However, I could see Team Garcia interfering and maybe we'd get a Garcia/Matts rematch at WW. Danny seems like he doesn't want Mayweather, but I think they (especially Angel) would feel salty if Lucas got the shot instead of him.

Garcia doesn't rematch hard opponents. That should have been clear when he said he wouldn't give Matthysse a rematch.

As far as Herrera goes. Styles make fights. He needs to calm down.
