I don't like Lomachenko getting another chance at a belt so early in his career...but this is going to be good.

If he fight like he did against Salido with the lack of activity he better hope he can drop Russel with single shots or counter him much better. He had a lot of opportunity against Salido to throw or counter and really just looked at him and posed, I think Russel is a little harder to get after but Salido certainly throws the harder punches.


I don't know that Lomachenko could change even given a bunch of fights as it is hard to unlearn things that become ingrained, but I do hope to see him fight much more like a real pro fighter.

Hope it gets done, but I doubt it... Top rank won't wanna risk lomochenko going 1-2 and giving gbp a huge win for Russell...


Sad thing is lomochenko has only 2 fights, but both opponents are better than anyone Russell has fought.. Smh
