He didn't route Duran easily. That was a competitive, close fight when Duran quit.

Which is completely understandable, however, it just proves my point even further....you can't compare Maywearher to Leonard.

Prime Leonard has an edge on Mayweather in every category.

Who has a Duran/Leonard 1 besides Duran and Leonard? It's one of the greatest fights ever by two guys probably among the 10 best fighters ever. Honestly, it's a ridiculous standard to hold anyone to.

If you use it as a realistic standard, which is a young, favored fighter having a tough, physical fight with a veteran who was able to bully him around, then the Castillo fight applies rather well. It even has the parallel of the rematch where the young fighter won a rematch to redeem themselves.

Well I have to use that because Leonard was in that fight, performed in that fight, was on the other end of Durans punches, and fought in that fight.

And the comparison being thrown around involves Leonard (who I aforementioned was in the fight I used as an example) and how Mayweather is in the same league as him.

And I'm trying to show you (by example) why you can't compare the two, for whatever reasons, it doesn't matter, you just can't simply compare the two.

Duran is like a better version of Marquez with more power.....there's no one out there even like that. One of the greatest of all time. Silly comparison

By silly comparison, I assume you mean comparing Mayweather to Leonard. And yes, That's what I been saying here.

Yes he has...the first Castillo fight where he got outwork and beaten but got a gift. He did avenge it in the rematch though...just like Leonard vs Duran II.

That is why I still feel that if Shane had a shot at Floyd in 2007 or before, he wouldve Knocked Floyd out, if De La Hoya had the same shot, 2005-2006, he wouldve cracked floyd too., Winky Wright @ 154 wouldve given Floyd Fits-but Floyd was still a 147lb fighter when Winky was pushing 154-160.

I'll even say Floyd never had a Leonard vs Hearns type fight.

That'll make my point a little less extreme, fact still remains to compare Leonard to Matweather is insulting.
