      It's a shame that the Ricky Burns fight didn't go through when it was scheduled. Had he beat Burns then it would have been a big feather in his cap.

      The P4P lists have a lot of non-American fighters so I doubt that is relevant.

          Clean out some of these title holders and he's on my list. Crawford and Abril would be a hell of a run.

            p4p equals superstar potential and abilities. Vasquez has none of that.

            Show someone a Vasquez fight, and they'll probably sue you.

              Look how much harder they had to work to get there though. Specially the ones without the GBP back up. Look at Froch compared to Ward, sure he lost to him but Froch has been doing the cleaning in the division, not Ward.

                Couldn't agree more. He's definitely one of the most solid boxers in the sport right now, but he's known more for losing to Bradley and Alvarez then beating anyone of note. His resume is still pretty thin at 135.

                    As it has been said, he needs a big win to get there. His resume is very average.
                    But he's been clearly dominating everyone (except Quintero) for a while now.
                    He just needs an opportunity.
