Mayweather not getting credit now is his own fault, if he wanted to avoid that he would have fought him when everyone was clamoring for it. Its all well and good saying everyone is easy for Floyd, but it doesn't make Floyd look good historically with him not fighting people hes favourite against and people think Floyd is scared to fight.
Floyds been accused of being scared of people not even as good as Pac. Scared of Hatton, old SSM and old DLH.
