Great observation from someone else in the boxing world. He knows what many boxers,trainers and those not impressed by the Arum/Pacquiao media machine have always known; Floyd is just too skilled for Manny. The size would play a part because you have a bigger guy with more skills than the smaller guy. He is not a handpicked Rios. Many have drank the Manny Kool-Aid when he says Floyds name prior to his fights with other opponents. Its hype to sell his fights,dweebs. Marquez shared the ring with them both and he told Manny to his face that Floyd would beat him! Hell, Manny can't even beat Marquez!

Floyd may be capable of cutting and slashing through time and space but his ability to nullify or negate an opponent's ability to do that against him is anything but superhuman. Take away the footspeed and athleticism edge or give the same advantage to the opposition and Floyd Mayweather is no better than Clark Kent. Whenever he stops moving his feet he becomes almost a pedestrian level talent. Watch a Floyd Mayweather fight and you'll see. Cotto is the best recent example. See what happens when he stops shaking and baking.

What the trainer is not getting is that to get a Floyd fight, there needs to be no doubt on Floyd's side. So if GGG trainer is saying that GGG has a better chance of beating Floyd well that would formulate in Floyd's mind as "You have no chance in hell of getting a fight with me"

It's not about what other people think that Floyd can do. We know that he can beat Manny.

It's what Floyd thinks he can do that matters.
