Mayweather is arguably the best defensive fighter ever. Pac is not even amongst the best offensive fighters.

Hell, doesn't Mayweather have the best record in the hit and don't get hit department? So in boxing, the sport where you attempt to hit and not get hit, Floyd is and has been the best. This isn't even close.

Now if you the question was; who has the best record? That would be a little more closer. However Mayweather slightly beats him as he has fought and beat more lineal and current world champions than Pacquiao, his reign of supremacy is twice as long as Pacquiao's, and he's never lost.

Also remember that Floyd dismantled and shut down the last known fighter (JMM) that put Pacquiao to sleep. The great counter puncher in JMM also gave Pac major problems (3X) to say the least. FYI, 5 out of 8 of Pac's division titles where vacant belts. oops. lol

Floyd is without question a top 5 defensive fighter of all time, arguable number 1. Pac's offense isn't even top 30. Bunch of Pacquiao nut huggers in here.

He throws a bunch of punches from so many angles. Oh so complex. **** outta here kiddies.

I remember when people praised Pac for "turning" a fighter. Oh my the skills.

Mayweather is the best defensive fighter of ALL TIME. And its not close.

Slightly? You said it yourself, Most of Pacquiao's division titles were for vacant belts. For people that don't understand the significance of this, it means that the Pacquiao didn't necessarily beat a deserving challenger. And the rest of Pacquiao's best victories were at catch weights or against fighters coming off big losses. Resumes arn't close IMO.

They are somewhat even. However, Mayweather's offense is better than Pacquiao's defense. I always thought the difference if the two ever fought will be Mayweather's offense. He'll be able to hit Pacquiao way more than Pacquiao would be able to hit him. Pacquiao is somewhat of a volume puncher but in no way is he a pressure fighter. Mayweather's surgical offense and timing would confuse Pacquiao especially since he is now a tad bit ring worn.
