So, yeah, me too, Floyd is a great fighter, but it is really time to fight Pacquiao and vice versa. The world's been waiting for too long for you two rich divas to argue over who the world loves more.
Ali was pushed into some fights that he didn't wanted that's why he is the way he is today. I'm a smart man and no money is worth my health, I don't need Pacquiao.

Does that sound like business .

Some of you are taking Hagler's comment out of context. There's no favoritism in his remarks, he's speaking on behalf of all boxing fans who want to see the fight between two of the greatest boxers in our era.

Incorrect. Pacquiao initially wanted a 30 day cut-off. Floyd made a fair compromise of a 14 day window (right inbetween Floyd's 0 days and Manny's 30 days). It was then Pacquiao that refused and Bob Arum immediately called off the fight and had Clottey lined up within days. Do you're homework. Pacquiao's camp wanted none of Floyd from the start.

              The truth coming from Hagler.

Floyd MUST be hurting a little bit inside.

I don't think Floyd will ever fight Manny.

And it will haunt him for the rest of his life.

If he fought and lost against Pac then I really think he would have everyone's respect regardless.

If he fought and won he would (by some) be an ATG.

So in reality he has everything to gain by fighting Pac and nothing to lose.

              Apart from his cherished '0'...

Plus it was Pacquiao that kept making silly demands for the fight (possibly to try to get Floyd to not agree). He demanded a 10 million dollar penalty for every pound Floyd was over 147lb. Why on earth would he demand such a thing considering that Floyd rarely comes over 147lb on fight night! Let alone in the weigh ins.

Hagler is one of the all time greats who fought the best, when it mattered most.

I think the whole Mayweather/Pacquiao situation has lost much of it's lustre in recent years. This would be like watching Leonard/Duran 3, both are greats but they were well past their best.
