Pac fans will vote for Rios to make Pac's win look better, and Floyd fans will vote for Maidana in order to say Floyd's future win will look better. Things are too predictable on here.
Who would you pick to win between Rios and Maidana at 147?

Rios is the bigger man even if he only fought at WW once. Grew style matchup for Rios who has a great chin to counter Maidana's power. Rios has never been outslugged, and Maidana isn't outboxing him or confusing him with speed. It's a toss up IMO for the sake of this thread I'll go with Rios.Comment

In the short video that is out there, Rios is right in Marcos' face going to work. IMO that is best distance to fight Maidana as long as you have a chin or inside game defense (or be clinchy Devon)
IDK the context of the video but if it was maidana first days there, i'm sure rios was fired up so he wanted to show him something.
for me it's hard to predict the outcomes battles of attrition because so many bombs will land.
I am not sure if Rios' power has carried to 147 yet, we now Marcos' has. Bam-Bam is better inside, but if he isn't able to hurt or wear guys down then fights get tougher for him
I think Rios would get out to a very fast start that's all i could say with confidenceLast edited by LA_2_Vegas; 03-19-2014, 06:28 PM.Comment

Great post, and you are 100 percent correct, the way to fight Maidana is toe to toe in his face so he can not throw those looping punchesIn the short video that is out there, Rios is right in Marcos' face going to work.
