Frocky haha he's a pile of s hit of a boxer, always has been. He's also a very insecure brat and a very very jealous man of others. Will be good groves flatten him again and finish him this time before Frocky gets a lucky punch in in the whole fight. END THIS FROCKER lol

Yeah it makes complete sense that Froch is unhappy about fighting in the iconic British 80,000 seater stadium where he is undoubtedly getting the majority share of the purse and where this kind of fight wouldn't have even happened without him.

You guys who knock Froch are morons. Would Groves have been able to land this kind of fight on his own? No he wouldn't because he really hasn't proved much of anything on the world boxing stage yet while Froch has been there and pretty much done it all at the elite level. Froch could have potentially landed a massive stadium fight on his own and without Groves. Get that through your thick skulls. Oh and I have a question. Are any of you fickle British boxing "fans" gonna continue not to support Froch after he beats Groves and sets himself up for a couple of major fights in the bright lights of vegas?
I highly doubt it. In fact I would bet my house on it that you get behind him if/when he lands a rematch with Ward or another top contender.

Idiots the lot of you underestimating Carl. George aint winning that rematch. I guarantee you.

It's not difficult to criticise Froch, his made it easy. He self appointed himself as the greatest Brititsh boxer (I don't know what planet his on) in fact his not even the greatest Super Middleweight to come out of this country Calzaghe,Eubank,Benn,Collins and Watson are leagues ahead of him and Groves could go on to be better than him. We know him and Khan don't like each other but they have one thing in common they both sprout the biggest rubbish.

Completely agree, it's just a shame the fan girls can't see past their crushes.

*edit* Looks like Earl beat me to it ^^
Not a casual fan at all, far from it mate. Boxed amateur as did brothers and cousins, Watch small hall shows, follow English and British champs right through to the big fights like Froch groves 2 and going to Murray v Crolla. You going to wembley?

Fangirls. You see that is interesting. I mean the way I see it is that "fans" of the sport of boxing like you and the guy you responded to have pretty much stopped liking Froch because of the way he talks and what he says.....is that about right? Don't even deny it by saying that you didn't think he was a good boxer before you changed your opinion on him because the truth is that he has always had that terrible style yet found a way to win through sheer toughness and will to win and the amount of support he had from fans(before they suddenly decided to act like "fangirls" who get jaded when their favourite boyband star suddenly dresses in a way they don't like) was already pretty impressive.

I was a Froch fan before and I'm still a Froch fan now because meaningless crap like ego, pre fight and post fight talk have no relevance whatsoever on how I judge a fighters credentials.
Froch is a complete pillock sometimes with the things he says but how many boxers don't have absolutely massive egos? George is just as bad as Carl but I don't see you criticising him for the pre-fight egotistical **** he's coming out with lately.
I absolutely think George is an amazing fighter who has the tools to beat Froch but IMO if Froch turns up with the correct mentality then I don't think George will be strong enough to last the 12 rounds with him.
Can't see Carl making the same mistakes twice and actually I think this time around its Groves who is making the mistake of underestimating him.

Froch wouldn't of got the Wembley gig without Groves either, its the whole controversial stoppage and the build up to the first fight that's made this fight as big as it is. I'll agree going into the first fight froch was the draw but the "rematch" is the draw here.. Ask yourself if the venue had been confirmed and just before the tickets were to go on sale.. if groves drops out would they of sold out? would froch's next fight of been at wembley? (Of course same applies if froch dropped out) This match up isn't based on who's the draw..

And don't read too deep into this.. And the whole 'genuine' rivalry.. Hearn is a very astute guy.. Remember Grove's last fight before Froch was on Frochs undercard.. But even if this was initially contrived even hearn didn't expect it to morph into something so big.

I was making a point that Froch in all reality must actually be elated about being a part of Boxing history at Wembley Stadium. Fitzpatrick talks so much nonsense these days...he is very transparent.
Have to say I disagree with you about the pulling appeal of the 2 fighters respectively. Carl could have easily walked away from this fight while admittedly relinquishing the belts but he would have set himself up for big money making fights in Vegas. Goerge on the other hand would have taken a massive step back and would have had to work his way into a big fight again while earning nowhere near the amount of money Carl can make at this point in his career so lets not pretend that financially they have the same pulling power because clearly as of yet they don't.
Froch could lose the rematch, retire and sill be happy....but what about if George loses? George has a hell of a lot to lose in this fight and if he does lose then the only direction he is going is backwards while Carl on the other hand has already been there and pretty much done it all in the sport.
Great fight and great occasion though. The rematch was/is the best option for everybody.

This thread is indicative of what's wrong with a lot of British boxing fans. It's too much about personality and not enough about the actual fighting. As soon as one of our fighters shows some self-belief and even arrogance, they get vilified.

They're boxers you ***in morons, they're supposed to be arrogant.

You might be a Froch fan but that doesn't mean everybody does, don't get worked up because we don't put him on a pedestal like you - Froch has disrespected Calzaghe ever since I can remember and believe me Froch couldn't live with Calzaghe the last fight against Groves proved it he always struggles against fighters with hand speed, like I said before he self appointed himself as Britains greatest which couldn't be further than the truth.

If you think Froch will retire happy if he loses against Froch then you really are living with rose tainted glasses because Carl is all about ego claiming this warrior theory of his, he got boo'd in the last fight and have been declared lucky by a lot and this is eating him, if he loses this will prove everybody right about the first fight, believe me Carl will be far from happy this will eat at him and because he can't rival Calzaghe's record it bothers him- Carl is all about ego.
